PoisonPowder (Japanese: どくのこな PoisonPowder) is a mostly accurate non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I. It appears to be a poison counterpart to Sleep Powder and Stun Spore as the Accuracy, Contest group, appeal, effects, Japanese names and animation are the same or very similar. Also they are usually learnt at the same level.

Effect

PoisonPowder poisons the opponent.

PoisonPowder can't affect an opponent that has a Substitute, already has a major status ailment, or is Poison- or Template:Type2.
