Template:FacebookEmbed/doc

{{FacebookEmbed}} is used for embedding Facebook videos on articles.

This template requires staff approval for use in the mainspace, due to loading issues which embedded videos can cause. A list of mainspace pages (or groups of pages) which may have embedded video is located on the this page. Additions to the list require approval of two staff members ranked Administrator or higher.

Usage

Parameters

Required

• 1 (unnamed): The video id from the url, such as https://www.facebook.com/Pokemon/videos/444707348301651/.
• 2 (unnamed): The page/channel name from the link such as https://www.facebook.com/Pokemon/videos/444707348301651/.
• 3 (unnamed): The color template name for the entire color scheme. Do not use if defining colors manually using the optional override parameters.

Optional

• 4 (unnamed): Secondary color scheme, for the channel name background.
• color: Override for the main color in the color scheme.
• colorlight: Override for the light color in the color scheme.
• colordark: Override for the dark color in the color scheme.
• name': Display override for the page/channel name.
• caption: Caption that will be shown above the table.
• cat: Used to customize the categories included by this template; mainly intended to be added blank to suppress categories.
• width: The width of the video frame. Defaults to 560.
• height: The height of the video frame. Defaults to 314.

This template is used to embed a Facebook video. Should only be used on approved pages.
