This is a list of pop culture references and other jokes found in the Pokémon sprites designed for April Fools' Day on Pokémon Showdown.

Gigantamax Charizard Platty A spoof of the cover of The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. The word "Dot" is replaced with "Zard."
Squirtle Drawn with the same sunglasses as Ash's Squirtle.
Gigantamax Blastoise A spoof of the box-office bomb Battleship.
Butterfree A spoof of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! vegetable spread. The container reads, "I can't believe it's Butter-free!"
Weedle A line of ASCII art resembling Weedle is typed into a word processor. A spell checker suggests that the author meant to write "weedle".
Beedrill The entire Bee Movie sped up and compressed into an animated sprite.
Rattata The text "TOP %" appears next to an extremely muscular Rattata, referencing the infamous Youngster Joey line.
