Thank you, and have a good time editing here! GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:20, 3 August 2018 (UTC) |
The Preview Button
Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. - Thanks, I will do from now on! Gameskiller01 (talk) 05:00, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
Templates
As a rule, new templates must be created in the userspace and approved before being used. I will move the templates you have created to your userspace for now. Tiddlywinks (talk) 21:39, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks, I created new ones in my userspace and blanked the templates I re-created after I found that they didn't work anymore (before I saw this message). Out of curiosity, how long does it take usually for a template to be approved? Gameskiller01 (talk) 21:59, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
- When you think you have what you need, you probably want to ask someone about them. After that, it can depend... Tiddlywinks (talk) 22:15, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
- Ok, so who and what do I ask about them? Sorry, I'm completely new to this. All of them should be ready already as they're simply slight edits to existing templates. Gameskiller01 (talk) 22:46, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
- You ask if they're good to go or if they need any changes or whatever. You can ask roughly anyone on staff; but if you can know who's active with the stuff you're trying to make a template for, it'd be smart to start there. Tiddlywinks (talk) 22:56, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
