There is an interesting trivial detail about Ash's Riolu as a fighting type, but I am not sure if it's worth enough to put it in the main page, so I'm sharing it here: Riolu is the first Fighting type Ash has captured since his Hawlucha, 272 episodes earlier. Hawlucha, a partial fighting was caught in the 834th episode of the series. 834 is also the number of episodes between Ash's last Gen 4 capture. Gible, and Riolu.
