Brock (Japanese: タケシ Takeshi) is the Gym Leader of Pewter City's Gym, known officially as the Pewter Gym. He hands out the Boulder Badge to Trainers who defeat him in battle. He specializes in training Rock-type Pokémon.
Character
Like its counterpart in the anime, Brock is an experienced trainer who helps teach methods of breeding to other trainers, he also demonstrates to have specific Pokémon for the level of experience of their challengers. He appears to be a celebrity in Pewter Town and has plenty of fame among some girls.
History
Brock is first seen watching the Pokémon battle between Red and Green, seeing him being beaten he later decides to talk to him and teaches many things about Pokémon training.
