J. Michael Tatum is an English voice actor for the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Tatum was born as John Michael Tatum on May 15, 1976, in McKinney, Texas. He had a stutter as a child, which prompted his speech coach to get him involved in theatre. His performances allowed him to overcome his stutter, inspiring him to become an actor. He became a voice actor with Funimation after being discovered by one of the studio's ADR directors. Tatum became involved with the Pokémon anime during Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl, with his major roles being Tobias and Damon. He currently co-hosts a podcast called That Anime Show.
