Help

So I just joined because I wanted to get some information about the Grand underground, like more in-depth stuff that what is different than the Sinnoh underground. I am willing to provide pictures of Items in the underground, but I don't really know where to get started. Jus hoping some person wanders along and can help me. --Prismatic (talk) 02:52, 26 November 2021 (UTC)

Merge?

I think it's unfortunate that this articles starts with differences to the topic of another article (the Underground). I believe both articles should be merged (or shouldn't have been separate in the first place). After all, it's the same place, mostly same mechanics etc., and I think "Grand" is often omitted in in-game in BDSP anyway.

German Pokewiki has them in one page, and I think it's way more useful (though not sure if they have the best structure). As I title, I'd suggest just "Underground" (agreeing with PalePrism at Talk:Underground#Move), but "Grand Underground" and "Sinnoh Underground" would be fine as well. What do others think? So I do think this does sound like it could work, Im just wondering how we would format the page?--Prismatic (talk) 21:20, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

I would say we should merge them. Maybe just add hideaways to the features on the pre-existing Underground page and put the changes as one of the later sections. Honestly I think not enough was changed in the remakes to really justify an entirely new page when those changes could just as easily be noted on the original. Difference in item rarities between versions

I've noticed that certain items seem to have different likelihoods of spawning depending on what game you are playing. I've found moon and water stones quite rare, and fire and sun stones seem much more common in Brilliant Diamond, while the opposite seems true in Shinning Pearl. I don't know how to confirm if this is true, but based on the large amount of time I've recently spent in both games, there is little room for doubt in my mind. I don't know anything about looking into the code of a game, but if anyone knows how, I think this would be worth including in the items section. It personally would have saved me a ton of time grinding for the appropriate stones since I have both versions. Shadowbane73 (talk) 05:52, 13 October 2023 (UTC)

More screenshots

Do we perhaps need a screenshot of when the game shows what you've dug out, and/or a screenshot of a Stone Box being unearthed? They are different after all. Kikugi (talk) 05:37, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
