Pokémon Ruby-Sapphire (Japanese:ポケットモンスターR・S(ルビーサファイア) Pocket Monster R S (Ruby and Sapphire)) is a shōnen Pokémon manga created by Kousaku Anakubo. It is a sequel to the original Pocket Monsters and is succeeded by Pocket Monsters DP. The story follows the adventures of Isamu Akai and his Pokémon (Clefairy, Pikachu and Tyrogue) in Hoenn. It is chiefly a gag manga using crude humor and slapstick.
Pokémon Ruby-Sapphire was published in six bound volumes by Shōgakukan in Japan. The series was translated into English by Chuang Yi in Singapore.
