Lyrics
Sometimes it's hard to know,
Which way you're supposed to go.
But deep inside, you know you're strong.
If you follow your heart, you can't be wrong.
Stand Up!
(Stand Up!)
For what is right.
Be brave!
Get ready to fight.
Hold On!
(Hold On!)
We're friends for life.
And if we come, together as one.
Complete the quests we've begun.
We will win the battle!
Galactic Battles! Pokémon!
Trivia
- This opening was originally made up of scenes from Get Your Rotom Running!, A Breed Stampede!, Dealing With Defensive Types!, Leading a Stray!, Steeling Peace of Mind!, Saving the World From Ruins!, and Another One Gabites the Dust!. This made it the only opening thus far to be made entirely of scenes from episodes, containing no clips from Japanese openings or endings.
- In The Lonely Snover!, the opening was updated to feature scenes from High Touch! and Pillars of Friendship!. Pikachu, Gliscor, Chimchar, and Buizel calling out their names at the end of the theme was also removed.
- In the second version's closed captioning, Ash's Pokémon cheering is left out from the first version.
- Among English themes, only Unbeatable had a running change prior to this. However, this remains the only English theme to have two very distinct versions.
- This is the longest opening TPCi (formerly PUSA) has produced to date.
- Although the opening sequenced changed on August 22, 2009, it did not become High-Definition until the airing of Classroom Training! on October 3, 2009.
