(Japanese: サトシとハルカ!ホウエンでの熱きバトル!! Satoshi and Haruka! Heated Battles of Hoenn!!) is the 120th episode of Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire, and the 394th episode of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on March 24, 2005.
Plot
In the first Pokémon clip show, Ash and his friends are still on the boat headed towards Slateport City, where May aims to win the title of Top Coordinator. In the meantime, Ash and May recollect memories from their journey together through the Hoenn region.
Having acquired the eight needed Badges to enter the Hoenn League Championships, Ash remembers the Gym battles he faced to get to this point, while May remembers the Contest Battles that earned her the five Ribbons required to compete in the Hoenn Grand Festival.

Trivia
- This is the first episode since the very first that Jessie, James, and Meowth are absent. This also marks their only absence in Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire.
- The clip show had unedited audio playing with the scenes that utilized clips from prior episodes, similar to the Japanese version of Mewtwo Returns.
- Ash's Gym battles against Wattson and Flannery are excluded.
- Advance Adventure is used as background music when the narrator talks about May's Contests.
- This is the final episode to be skipped in the 4Kids Entertainment dub.
Dub edits
- This episode was not dubbed into English, or any other language aside from the original Japanese. This occurred for the first time after the worldwide-banned episode EP038. DP048 and DP120, both also clip shows, were skipped in the dub as well.
In other languages
As most non-Japanese versions of the anime are based on the American dub, this episode has not aired anywhere outside of Japan.
