Drapion (Japanese: ドラピオン Dorapion) is a Darkness-type Level-Up Pokémon LV.X card. It was first released as one of the DP-P Promotional cards, later reprinted in the Platinum expansion.
Card text
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, choose 1 of the Defending Pokémon. That Pokémon is now Poisoned. Put 3 damage counters instead of 1 on that Pokémon between turns. This power can't be used if Drapion is affected by a Special Condition.
Does 40 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) The Defending Pokémon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn.
Release information
This card was first released in Japan as one of the DP-P Promotional cards available as an insert with the Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky Official Visual Book released in August 2008. The English print features different artwork by the same artist and was included in the Platinum expansion, first released in the Japanese Galactic's Conquest expansion.
