The Electric Tale of Pikachu interview with Animerica

Around 1999, Ono had an interview with Animerica, an American magazine dedicated to anime. They asked him mostly about The Electric Tale of Pikachu and its upcoming final volume. Some of the questions were focusing more on his career as a writer than his personal life. Eventually the question of his illustrations came along. Ono replied with, "I have had to change most of my artwork for it to get into America."
