:::True. But you can also only see one of the evolved Fossils as well. The point of the trivia is really that you can never see Golem regardless of version. It may be worth a small note in the trivia. Although, I question the point of the trivia altogether, since being able to see a Pokémon only matters in Gen IV onwards. == Fourth Claw ==
Golem's FireRed/LeafGreen Sugimori art has four claws, but its Red/Blue Sugimori art only has three. And, all of its sprites up until its Diamond/Pearl sprite have three, which is interesting. Could this potentially be trivia? [[User:Furret63|Furret63]] ([[User talk:Furret63|talk]]) 14:19, 16 April 2013 (UTC)

001Bulbasaur RG.png Due to special coding in place in the article, the artwork featured on this article will change every year on February 27 and September 30 in celebration of the releases of Red and Green in Japan, and Red and Blue in the United States. This will only affect the artwork shown in the infobox. This changes every year, so when the time comes, here to return to the page and change the display.

Several Golem?

The only Golem I remember Pikachu defeating was the one in the opening of the first movie. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 20:48, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

I don't remember Ash beating any Golem with electric attacks. I know he beat Brock's Geodude with an electric attack, but thats it. Xanhawk

Generation II Backsprite

I don't ever remember Golem using that backsprite. Is it from Gold and Silver by any chance? Because I have Crystal and it doesn't use that one. LordHeinz 23:19, 24 May 2010 (UTC)

FireRed

does anybody know which trainer has a golem in FireRed and LeafGreen? i've beaten the e4 and only need a golem to finish off my kanto 'dex but don't have access to trades :|

Same here, but it says in the trivia that you cant even SEE golem without trading in gen 1. Speaking of which, shouldn't that say "And it's remakes"?Leafgreener in 2010 00:53, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

Trivia

Seems to be false as Graveler you get in Japanese Blue evolves. And Japanese Blue is a Generation I game, after all! Marked +-+-+ (talk) 16:38, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

Amended to fix. --Spriteit (talk) 02:32, 10 October 2012 (UTC)

What about Magmar and Electabuzz?

As far as I know there is NO in-game trainer that has either Magmar or Electabuzz, so don't they count as well when it comes to Pokémon not seen in the games?

If nobody objects I'm adding that to the trivia as well. TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 22:06, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

No, because you can catch them. The trivia says "couldn't even see" meaning you never fight one in a Trainer battle and that it is not seen in the wild. Magmar and Electabuzz, however, are found fairly easily in the wild. So you can still see them. Crystal Talian 22:10, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
That might be true. However you can't see Magmar in Pokémon Red and you can't see Electabuzz in Pokémon Blue. That's what I'm talking about. TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 16:07, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
