A Rocket Executive (Japanese: ロケットだんいんのかんぶ Team Rocket Executive Member) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation II games. They are the heads of Team Rocket after Giovanni abandons the organization. There are four of them, three men (all sharing the same sprite) and a woman. They were unnamed in Generation II, until they all got individual names and sprites in Generation IV. Archer disbands Team Rocket after he is defeated for the final time.
Back in the Generation II times, the characters of male and female Executive were adapted into Pokémon Adventures manga as Keane and Chermaine, respectively. Their game counterparts are Archer and Ariana.
They tend to use a combination of Template:Type2 and Template:Type2 Pokémon.
In Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, two higher-ranking members of Team Rocket appear in command of the Rocket Warehouse, with the title Team Rocket Admin. Here, they use the same sprites as Rocket Grunts.
The trainer class makes a return in the Gold and Silver remakes, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Four characters appear: Proton, Petrel, Ariana and Archer. They are all adapted from original Executives from Pokémon Gold and Silver but given individual identities. All four are named after real-life rockets/missiles, much like Team Galactic Commanders, who were named after celestial bodies.

Trivia
- Though Rocket Executives are higher in rank than Team Rocket Grunts, the background theme played when fighting them is the same as that for a normal Trainer battle, rather than the Team Rocket battle theme. This was changed in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.
