Honey Tree Questions
former variations
Regarding the questions you pose on my talk page:
what do you mean a "templates for former variations"? --Hanmac 07:30, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
The 4 trees which may have a Munchlax are related to the trainer id and secret id of the playerI am reluctant to post exactly how its determined for one reason, because it can be used as a method of checking the legality of the MunchlaxI will definitely post it, however at this point, it is not in the best interest of the greater Pokemon community to post it.
:I mean a section on the move variation templates for moves that met the criteria in past generationsLike the DynamicPunch template, perhaps include a section on there that says something like "formerly a variation", and lists Zap Cannon, as prior to Generation IV, it had the same base power as DynamicPunch, and thus would've been considered a variation of the move<small>- unsigned comment from [[User:Missingno. ::i added parameters for this --Hanmac 08:33, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

I will release a program that allows a person to supply their trainer id and secret id and it will tell you which trees.  It requires knowing both peices of information, will is also a problem for players who do not use an AR or flash card, or know someone who does.
Ummm
:Oh, alright.  But what about my other question- does a tree that's slathered with more than one honey affect anything?  I ask because it seems wierd that a tree can have multiple honey slathered on it at the same time.  I'm Missingno. Master.  See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 11:41, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
:: I belive you are misunderstanding how it works.  What I meant by slathering multiple times was: If you slather a tree, encounter a pokemon, and slather the game tree, it will qualify as slathering the same tree multiple times in a row.  If you slather a different tree while waiting for the first time, it will break that concept.  This brings a trade-off between 1%, 0.1%, and 0% chance of getting a Munchlax and makes triggering the 90% chance, very rare. Sabresite 20:36, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
:::No, I understood that part.  I was asking, since there turns out to be significance in slathering the tree again right after battling a Pokemon there, then is there anything that is affected by slathering a tree, then immediately slathering it again?  I'm [[User:Missingno. Look, it's not proper grammar to capitalize glitch when Nintendo has never used it capitalized. They're never use the word at all, meaning that there is no evidence for whether or not it's get capitalized. And since it's not proper grammar to capitalize words when there's no evidence for the fact that it should be capitalized, glitch should not be capitalized. And don't tell me about the Shadow Pokémon thing, because that term has been used by Nintendo. Hey Missingno. Master, I've been reading some talk pages and have found that a lot of your posts have had to be tagged with the unsigned comment notice. If you could please try to remember that us Bulbapedians prefer the signature rather than the unsigned-comment tag and sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~), then we will know that it is you and when you posted it.
