| The '''Battle Frontier''' (Japanese: '''バトルフロンティア''' ''Battle Frontier'') is Johto's premiere battle facility, located at the northernmost part of {{rt|40}}, west of [[Olivine City]]. It was introduced in {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver|s}}, being separated from the route itself by a [[gatehouse]]. Being the third [[Battle Frontier]] in the series, it will carry many of the special rules as it did in the previous Battle Frontiers in [[Hoenn]] and [[Sinnoh]].

| The Battle Frontier expands on the {{jo|Battle Tower}} found in {{game|Crystal}} by adding other facilities around it to challenge. Each of the facilities in the Battle Frontier has a [[Frontier Brain|leader]], who may be challenged after certain winning streaks have been made through their respective facilities.
