Trivia
- This card's Elemental Blast attack is identical to the attack of the same name on the Lugia ex from EX Unseen Forces, which in turn is based off the first Lugia card from Neo Genesis.
- Although Lugia is Psychic/Flying, it has been depicted in the Trading Card Game several times as a Colorless-type card, and this is the first time it has been depicted as a Water-type card.
Origin
Elemental Blast is a reference to Lugia's role as the master of the legendary birds, requiring one energy each of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres's TCG types to use. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon SoulSilver.
