Dawn, Lucas, Professor Oak, and Shaymin at the entrance to the Seabreak Path

The Seabreak Path (Japanese: うみわれのみち Seabreak Path) is an extension of Route 224. It can only be accessed if the player has Oak's Letter. If the player comes to the white rock at the edge of the route with this item, Professor Oak will be there. The whole area will then burst into bloom and the Seabreak Path will have appeared. Shaymin will come down the path, then run back up. Following the path leads the player to the Flower Paradise, where Shaymin can be battled.

Despite being the longest route in the game (32×256 "tiles"), there is no tall grass, and therefore, no wild Pokémon.

It is so named because it breaks the sea between the Sinnoh region and the open ocean that lies to the east.
