The S.S. Tidal (Japanese: タイドリップごう S.S. Tiderip) is a ferry between Lilycove City and Slateport City. Mr. Briney is the captain of this ship. It is similar to the S.S. Aqua in that there are many trainers on board, But once the trainers have been battled the player cannot battle them again. It transports players to another location in the game, Players can travel to Southern Island with the Eon Ticket to catch either Latios or Latias, to Navel Rock with the Mysticticket to catch Lugia and Ho-Oh, to Birth Island with the Aurora Ticket to catch Deoxys, to Faraway Island with the Old Sea Map to catch Mew, to the Battle Tower in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, or the Battle Frontier in Emerald.
