Release information

This card was included in the English Mysterious Treasures expansion, first released in the Japanese Secret of the Lakes expansion. It was later reprinted in the Secret Wonders expansion, reprinted first in the Japanese Dialga LV.X and Palkia LV.X Constructed Standard Decks. A Cosmos Holofoil promotional reprint was released in Japan and awarded as a prize for defeating Pokémon Card Laboratory employees in the PCL Corner Battle event at 2007 Spring Battle Roads between March and April of that year. A Cosmos Holofoil version of the Mysterious Treasures print was released in the Diamond & Pearl Collection in August 2008. It was later reprinted again in the Rising Rivals expansion, first released in the Japanese Bonds to the End of Time expansion, and then again in the Japanese Advent of Arceus expansion. A special Crosshatch Holofoil print of the English card was made available during the Dahlia Season of the 2009-10 Pokémon League Cycle.

Trivia

Bebe's Search, along with Night Maintenance, are the first Trainer cards to appear in consecutive sets since Life Herb, which appeared in both EX Hidden Legends and EX FireRed & LeafGreen.

Origin

Bebe was a character introduced as the creator of the Sinnoh Pokémon Storage System in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
