This card was included as a Regular card and a Full Art ultra rare card in the Japanese Wild Force expansion. Both prints feature artwork by Hideki Ishikawa.

- This card's effect is identical to that of Hapu, released in the Unified Minds expansion. The only difference is that Explorer's Guidance is classified as an Ancient card.
Origin
The Explorer character in question is depicted exploring Area Zero and carrying the Scarlet Book.
