Release information
This card was included in the Paradox Rift expansion with artwork by HYOGONOSUKE, first released in the Japanese Ancient Roar expansion. In Japan, an SV-P Promotional print with different artwork by MAHOU was one of seven cards available in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 4, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues able to do so from October 27, 2023.[1] This print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.

Trivia
The Paradox Rift print of this card forms a combined illustration with eight other cards released in the Scarlet & Violet Series of the Pokémon TCG: Skwovet, Magikarp, Palossand, Combee, Lechonk, Gligar, Swablu, and Mime Jr. All nine cards feature illustrations by HYOGONOSUKE and were first released in Japan in 2023. The full combined illustration is featured on the つながるせかい Tsunagaru Sekai (lit. "Connected World") line of TCG card sleeves.
Origin
Hook is an attack that first appeared on Magnemite from EX Dragon. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Shield.
