Worth noting that Ash is the only one to win a round with a Pokemon who isn't his designated Ace? He beat Cynthia with Lucario, not Pikachu, who was shown as his ace slash signature Pokemon a la Garchomp, Metagross, and Charizard. It could also be phrased as 'to win a battle where his Ace was defeated', as Pikachu was taken out by Spiritomb while we don't see Leon, Diantha, or Cynthia win after Charizard,Gardevoir, or Garchomp go down. | |||

Possible Trivia
Worth noting that Ash is the only one to win a round with a Pokemon who isn't his designated Ace?
