Upon the release of {{TCG|Galactic's Conquest}}, Manaphy and four other promotional cards were made available to anyone who bought two booster packs from the expansion. These cards were the first available cards from the DPt-P promotional series.
This card was released in {{TCG|POP Series 9}}, originating as one of the Japanese {{TCG|DPt-P Promotional cards}}. A Cosmos Holofoil print of the English card was released in August 2009 as one of two cards available in the {{TCGMerch|Platinum|Series|Supreme Victors Three Pack Blisters}}. In Japan, this card and four other promotional cards were made available to anyone who bought two {{TCG|Galactic's Conquest}} booster packs during the expansion's initial release campaign at participating stores.
