Spell of the Unown is the third Pokémon movie. It was released in Japan in 2000 with a later USA release in 2001.
Synopsis
Two researchers mysteriously go missing while researching a species of Pokémon, the Unown. They leave behind their daughter, young Molly. While mourning her parents she spells out their names, the Unown hear her sorrow and decide to grant her wishes of a mother and father.
They summon a representation of a legendary Pokémon, Entei to act as a father figure, and for a mother they kidnap Ash's mother, Delia Ketchum.
The Unown corrupt the mansion where Molly lives and turns it into a large crystal-like tower, while further affecting the land around it. Ash must now overcome the tower and Molly's dreams to save his mother.
