Trivia
- Most likely because of its complicated and potentially difficult to program Pokémon Power, this card was not included in Pokémon Trading Card Game or Pokémon Card GB2: Here Comes Team GR!. It shares this trait with Ditto.
- The art for this card was accidentally used in the first print run for the non-holo Electrode of the Jungle expansion.
Origin
Electric Shock's Japanese name is that of Thunder Jolt, a move in the Super Smash Bros. series. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue. The Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
