Card text

If your opponent has any Benched Pokémon, he or she chooses 1 of them and switches it with his or her Active Pokémon, then, if you have any Benched Pokémon, you switch 1 of them with your Active Pokémon.

Release information

This card was reprinted in the VS (Japan only), Expedition, EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua, EX Unseen Forces, and EX Crystal Guardians sets. For Expedition, the effect was reworded to read as follows:

Your opponent switches the Defending Pokémon with 1 of his or her Benched Pokémon, if any; then, you switch your Active Pokémon with 1 of your Benched Pokémon, if any.

For EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua, a further reword brought the card in line with 2-on-2 play. "1 of his or her" was placed before "Defending Pokémon", and "1 of your" was placed before "Active Pokémon".
