* Foresight makes it so Ghost are affected by Normal and Fighting attacks, and it also erases all changes the target has made to their evasion stat.
* It creates an entry hazard which damages Pokémon switching in by an amount dependent on their defensive strength against Rock-type moves.
* Foresight had an accuracy of 100 in Generation II and III. In Generation IV it was made so it never failed. Generation V made it so Foresight can be reflected by Magic Coat.
* Stealth Rock is removed from the side of the field of a Pokémon which uses Rapid Spin or targeted by Defog.
* In the Trading Card Game, Foresight has the user look at his or her opponent's hand, and shuffle a Trainer card back into his or her opponent's deck. It has only appeared on one card: Neo Genesis, under the name "Glaring Gaze."
* It is the only entry hazard that will always hit Flying or Levitate Pokémon.
