Oh, thanks! I just joined recently, and obviously I know the basic stuff but not that there should be certain trivia for more minor things like that... Grrghh.. Scald move. But thanks for telling me this, I'll keep this in mind for the future. :)
But seriously, how was I supposed to know? That trivia was there for about 7 hours with no message from a mod or anything about them wanting to remove it until now. I'm a very honest guy, and I would have been willing to shut up with the edit wars if I didn't think it was just a random guy doing that just to be a troll or something. And again, thanks for clearing that up. It's nice to get a realistic response. ;) [[User:RedLuigi|RedLuigi]] 05:43, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

The only reason I made the Mariofan141 account was so I could help out with that edit back on the... *sigh* Scald move. But really, all I wanted to do was help out with that "Pokemon Water-type Pokemon" Engrish and fix it, but the page was protected, I guess, and then you edited it. Also, did you really have to remove my posts on its talk page?
Fine, I get it. I'll stop now. You could ban me if you think I deserve it, or you can read the above topic and see that I wasn't trying to break the rules in any way. I didn't even know certain trivia was not allowed on Moves, Abilities, etc. until that one person posted his message. I've been going on this wiki frequently since Diamond came out, and I only joined very recently so I could help contribute. It was just one little mistake, and I certainly don't want to cause vandalism on every page in this wiki for no reason.
Like I said, this wiki is great, and I would love to be a part of it. Sorry for all of the trouble I caused, but it was all a mistake. :(

== Hello == | |||
Hi RedLuigi, | |||
It looks like you and I are having a similar problem. I've been keeping track of Pokemon since the first season came out, and just today I decided to post some trivia and errors in episodes from the first season. Looks like it was a bad idea, though, if you check out my profile discussion and Kenji-Girl's. I'm glad to know I'm not alone in thinking the administration here is out of control. --[[User:ShalashaskaADV|ShalashaskaADV]] 05:13, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
:Hello there. Yeah, the admins and moderaters are pretty strict here, expecting N00Bs to know all of this stuff right away. It's like they are programmed to say that stuff do to them talking in very strict tones and copy and pasting the exact same warnings to different users. And that's saying a lot since I made a guide for getting achievements on Pac-Man C.E. Edition for the Xbox 360 (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/pac-man-championship-edition-dx/guide/), which I had to get the admins there to approve and took about 3 months to get on there. The admins and moderators here are much stricter and more robotic than what I dealt with there, the old Nintendo fourms, and other places. The whole Scald thing was so minor compared to that link I posted in the parenthesis, and if they are going to make the Scald thing seem much more than just a simple mistake, than I lost faith in this wiki that I've been going on since Diamond came out. I mean, don't they have records here or something? Can't they see when we joined here? If they do, then, as the Joker says, "Why so serious?" to N00Bs out of all people?
:Well, there's my rant for ya. But yeah, like I said, the Admins and Moderators act very robotic. I typed up that thing on Kenji-Girl's page, and even though I said "Thanks for reading. Hope to hear back soon. :(", she still hasn't responded, even though it's been about a week since then. Guess they thought that very honest sounding message was a lie even though it was clearly not. I bet she read it but didn't respond because she would reply something like "Please do not edit Scald again. Thanks." and it would make me argue since that would make it seem like Kenji-Girl didn't even acknowlage the message she was responding to in the first place. If you look in her About Me, it says she can be nice if you get to know her, but at this rate, I think newcomers wouldn't even want to talk to her in the first place. I know I felt like that, but I still talked about Scald anyway because if I didn't, I would be banned right about now or something. :(
:Oh, there's another (unintended) rant. But I digress. Anyway, I saw your talk page about the Pokemon Anime edits, and I kind of felt bad. The Admins really are robotic here. Sorry for what happened back there. Hopefully they will know better next time and not diss noobs like what happened with me and you (doubt it, though). Trust me, after 4 years on YouTube, that guide I wrote for Xbox360Achievements.org, recently joining the SSBB hacking community, I never had such rude and somewhat rushed replies on a website. Ever. Jezz, I keep ranting. lol
:Well, thanks for sending that message to me, it actually encouraged me to keep editing here as I thought I was the only one here that was having this problem. I just edited Victini's trivia saying Junichi Masuda's favorite Pokemon is now Victini, thanks to an IGN article. (http://ds.ign.com/articles/115/1150433p1.html). I guess I should only edit things that are 100% true and double check them like that Victini thing. Again, thanks for that message. It made me much more comfortable here knowing that I wasn't the only one with this problem. :D

The Manual of Style covers most things you'll need to know here at Bulbapedia, so if you haven't taken a look at it yet, I highly suggest that you do. By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

Thank you, and have a good time editing here! |
Please Stop
When it is clear that the trivia you added on Scald is not considered notable you should not re-add it since it is clear it will be removed. Choosing to ignore this consensus will result at being blocked from editing. -Tyler53841 02:19, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
How is that not notable? That's just like saying some people think Blaze Kick can be both a Fire-type and Fighting-type move, which Bulbapedia clearly said in the article on Moves.
But I digress. I'll shut it and stop editing Scald. I promise. Do what you want. RedLuigi 02:24, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
