Monta (Japanese: モンタ Monta) is the main character of the manga series Pokémon Master Black & White.

It was used in its first battle against a Wild Minezumi, Monta ordered a Vine Whip which it uses and it hurts the Lookout Pokémon and it is then captured. It is then used in a Double battle against a wild Minezumi and Miruhoggu. He orders a Tackle on the Mirughoggu, just when he is about to capture it, Bel and Cheren appear.

Bel (Bel ベル) is a friend of both Monta and Cheren, not much is known about her, but although she is not as knowledgeable as Cheren. Her starter Pokémon was Mijumaru. She first appeared with Cheren, and after Cheren's lecture telling Monta his is inexperienced, Bel says he said too much. She then watches Monta and Cheren battle the Bike Gang King.

The Bike Gang King (Bousouzoku King 暴走族キング), he first appears in PMBW01 where he laughs at the thought of the trio becoming battle masters and starts to insult them, annoying Monta and Cheren. He thinks they are weak and challenges Monta and Cheren to Double battle against just his Wargle. Despite being very strong, he was defeated by Monta's Tsutarja and Cheren's Pokabu's combination of Grass and Fire.
