Necessity

Is the article necessary? If so please tell me why--KukiTalk 15:53, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Crasher Wake's main Pokémon. - Cassius335 16:05, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
Right now, the signature Pokémon of Gym Leaders get articles. Though with articles like this and Rudy's Starmie, that could change. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 16:15, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
Is there something wrong with the article? Why are you planning on changing it? I mean some characters of the day don't have as much information but yet each of them are allowed to have their own article. It's just one article for one of the Gym leader's Pokémon. It's not going to take up that much space. I'll expand the article more once I see the English version of this episode. --ケンジガール 18:55, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Redirect Wake's Floatzel?

Should "Wake's Floatzel" redirect here as a shortcut? (GT4GTR 08:46, 22 June 2008 (UTC))

I guess so. I'll go do it right now. --ケンジガール 08:49, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Name

Couldn't this article be better named as Wake's Floatzel? This is just like having Pokemon Hunter J's Drapion instead of J's Drapion. Jmath 21:13, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

There's a difference. Hunter J's accepted name is J, not Pokémon Hunter J. This trainer's accepted name, on the other hand, is Crasher Wake, not Wake. --Shiningpikablu252 21:46, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
Then by that logic all the Frontier Brains' Pokémon would have to be renamed. Jmath 18:39, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Frontier Brains have a different naming style than gym leaders and non-disambiguated villains. Logic applying to gym leaders and villains doesn't apply the same to Frontier Brains. --Shiningpikablu252 18:45, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
How so? They are still referred with their whole title even though we refer to them by a single name. What makes "Crasher Wake" any different? Jmath 19:05, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Because Crasher Wake's name is Crasher Wake. There's no title involved, just the guy's name. --Shiningpikablu252 19:37, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Buizel and Floatzel

After Buizel saw Floatzel fight, I thought Buizel was thinking of evolving. Anyone else think that?

And who else thinks Wake's Floatzel is awesome!?

As always,

A request for picture change. File:Crasher Wake's Floatzel.png

This is notable

This thing did more than battle! I say KEEP! --CuboneKing 22:00, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

May I direct you attention to--Dark ICE (User:Cold)(page, talk) 22:02, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Doesn't matter...Notability says it dies...It got Buizel and Ash pumped up for battle for its outside appearance...--PsychicRider 22:03, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Most of the voters for this article on DETH's notability page said keep. --CuboneKing 22:06, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
"Gym Leaders may have an article about their signature Pokémon, but only if it did more than just battle in the episode(s) it appeared in and had some impact on the plot. Examples would be Blaine's Magmar, which saved the Cinnabar Gym and developed Charizard's personality, or Clair's Dragonair, which helped save the Dragon Kingdom. Elite Four members and Frontier Brains also fall into this category." --PsychicRider 22:11, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Why are you so negative?! Some imformative site. --CuboneKing 00:45, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
I'd say keep it, it's a pretty good article for what it is. And who knows? Floatzel may return. Dusknoir477 20:31, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Wake's Floatzel needs new image

I tried to upload an image of Crasher Wake's Floatzel earlier, but it kept saying it was corrupted for some reason. I went looking for an even better image after that, trying to find one with Wake in the background, but I couldn't find one. Anyone here care to find one and upload it? --Brats817 05:40, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Well, for now, I've went ahead and reflected the new location for its existing image. You're free to keep searching for a new image, just make sure you get the necessary approvals before we can have the image reflected. Even if Floatzel loses its questonable notability case, a new image could still prove useful for the matching section on Crasher Wake's page...--Shiningpikablu252 05:47, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

I shall try to find a good image. And by approvals, what does that mean? I don't really know alot about uploading images here. --Brats817 06:15, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
