Statue (Quest)
Tumblecube Island has ten statues hidden across it. These statues are remnants of an ancient civilization that once inhabited the island. Each one is shaped like one or more Pokémon. However, it is unknown if their names represent what their creators called the statues or if they are just identifiers made up in the present day. (Either MoBee names them or is accessing some other source that has names, and there is not enough text to make a call either way.) A statue is located in most of the island's areas. The player and MoBee find and collect them after defeating the boss Pokémon of each area.
With each one obtained, Pokémon up to a specific level get 1.5 times the normal amount of Exp. from expeditions. Naturally, the ones earlier in the game only affect lower level Pokémon, with the later ones affecting Pokémon of higher levels up to level 60. This makes the statues a loose equivalent to Badges, serving as both a marker of progress and a boost to the player's abilities.
When collecting them, the player conjectures about what the statue represented in the past. Afterward, they can be used as decorations in the player's Base Camp.
They have a mysterious connection to the Chamber of Legends, which lacks a statue but is unlocked after the player obtains all of the statues. MoBee malfunctions after obtaining the Reverent Statue. A bridge from Farside Fjord to the Chamber of Legends rises from the water once all the statues are collected, and it appears that the statues have some relation to Mewtwo's imprisonment in the Chamber. Happenstance Island also does not have a statue.
