(Japanese: タテトプス Tatetopusu) is a Rock/Steel-type Pokémon. It is available in Generation IV games.

Tatetopusu has to be revived from a fossil.

Name origin

Tatetopsu's name comes from the words 盾 (tate which means sheild) and -ceratops, wich is a suffix that's used in the names of horned dinosaurs, such as the Triceratops.

Tatetopsu is based on a Ceratopian dinosaur.

Obtaining

Tatetopsu is exclusive to Pokémon Pearl
