Ricard Nouveau (Japanese: ピノ・ノワール Pinot Noir) is an A-class Pokémon Connoisseur and a character of the day who appeared in Clash of the Connoisseurs!.

He was chosen along with Cilan by Mr. Hatterly to help choose a Pokémon for his daughter Marigold. Ricard believed that the perfect Pokémon for her would be Petilil because of its scent and cuteness. Cilan disagreed with him, thinking that a half Grass-type would be more suitable for her as opposed to a pure one. Since they couldn't agree, the two Connoisseurs decided to have a battle to see who was right. Ricard ended up losing the battle.
