The Island of the Giant Pokémon (Japanese: きょだいポケモンのしま Island of the Giant Pokémon) is a location exclusive to the Pokémon anime in the Kanto region. It first appeared in Island of the Giant Pokémon, and also appeared in Beauty and the Beach and Tentacool & Tentacruel.

It contains the cities Acapulco and Hutber Port, which comprise Porta Vista, as well as the theme park Pokémon Land.

Pokémon Land

The Pokémon Land side is mostly uninhabited by humans. The coast is sandy and contains many palm trees. Just a little inland is a woods with several fruits that edible for Pokémon. It is mostly uninhabited by wild Pokémon, due to Team Rocket's robotic giant Pokémon using this area. Further inland, there are tall cliffs and large rocks.

The part of the beach Jessie and James landed on contains a phone booth. The phone booth has a very long cable, which is entirely above ground.

Through the center of the park is a railway, on which a railcart runs at high speed. This railway features various humps and sharp turns, as well as a vertical loop. One railway station was shown, but it merely contained two concrete slabs (to aid in entering the cart) with some outdoor chairs.
