Holly

Holly (Japanese: ホノカ Honoka) is a minor recurring character in the Pokémon anime. She first appeared in Tag! We're It! as Brock's tag battle partner. Her Japanese voice actress is 小笠原亜里沙 Arisa Ogasawara and her English voice actress is Sarah Natochenny.

At first she didn't show interest in Brock saying that she was not interested in "younger men", but after battling together with him she formed an attraction to him. She was impressed by his battling skills. Later, in Glory Blaze, she seemed jealous that he was flirting with Nurse Joy. Later on she was seen having hearts in her eyes while watching Brock battle.

After Holly and Brock lost the battle against Ash and Paul, she couldn't help but feel responsible for the loss. Afterwards she left without saying good-bye to him. Nurse Joy told Brock that she wanted to train more so that she can become better. This left Brock heartbroken once again.

• She, along with Wilhemina, Temacu, Natalie, Lucy, and later, Autumn, is one of the few females to fall in love with Brock and the third who Brock showed affection for first.
• She is the only one of the main characters tag battle partners, who has yet to make another appearance.
