Flower Veil (Japanese: フラワーベール Flower Veil) is an Ability introduced in Generation VI. It is one of two signature Abilities of Flabébé's evolutionary line, the other being Symbiosis.
Effect
In battle
Flower Veil prevents non-volatile status problems and the lowering of the stats of all Grass-type Pokémon on the user's side of the field, unless the stat reduction is self-inflicted, such as from moves like Leaf Storm or Close Combat. Despite the move's description, Flower Veil prevents the bearer's stats from being lowered if the bearer is Grass-type.
Outside of battle
It is unknown if Flower Veil has an effect outside of battle.
