The Mysterious Crystal (Japanese: なぞのすいしょう Mysterious Crystal) is an event item obtainable via Wi-Fi in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. As no official translation has yet been released it is also referred to as the Enigma Crystal.
Its use is similar to that of the Eon Ticket, and triggers the appearance of either Latias (in SoulSilver) or Latios (in HeartGold). If it is taken to the Pewter Museum of Science, traveling Pokémon Champion Steven Stone will discover that it is really the Soul Dew, an item native to his home region of Hoenn. After this brief encounter, depending on the game version, one of the Eon Pokémon will attack the player, presenting the opportunity for it to be captured.
