Delaney

Delaney (Japanese: ヤスジ Yasuji) was the character of the day in Outrageous Fortunes.

Delaney had a Poliwrath with an excellent winning streak. Poliwhirl battled against him and his Pokémon. Apparently he was a little dim, because he readily agreed to hand over his Poliwrath to Jessie so she could rid it of "evil". Misty used her Corsola to rescue it. Misty's Poliwhirl then evolved into Politoed and together Poliwrath and Politoed defeated Team Rocket.

Poliwrath
Poliwrath is Delaney's strongest Pokémon. It was able to take out many Pokémon including Mason's Hitmontop and Misty's Poliwhirl. When he used Poliwrath against Ash's Bayleef, the battle was immediately declared as a draw due to Poliwrath being in bad condition.

Later, Team Rocket stole Poliwrath as it was stronger than Ash's Pikachu. Team Rocket also used Poliwrath for their machine, the “Force-you-to do what-I-want” machine. Even though the machine made it under the control of Team Rocket, Delaney was able to get it back as it was able to escape their grasp. After returning to Delaney, it was used along with Misty's Politoed to blast off Team Rocket.

Poliwrath's known moves are Water Gun, DoubleSlap, and Submission.
