Trivia
- At the time the title was revealed, Budew was not yet known, as it had not yet been revealed.
- Music from Lucario and the Mystery of Mew was used as background music.
- The eyecatches feature Ash (wearing his Diamond and Pearl outfit), Dawn and Brock. The first shot shown just before the commercial is a close up of them, while the second shot shown right after the commercials shows their whole bodies. These would be the same shots for the rest of the series.
- Professor Oak's lecture: Pokémon Centers
- Most of the scenes in this segment are of the Pokémon Center Ash stayed at while preparing for his Battle Pyramid rematch, though the Center from Two Degrees of Separation is also shown.
- Pokémon senryū: ジョーイさん あいたくなったら ポケモンセンター Jōi-san aitaku nattara, Pokémon sentā. "When I want to meet Nurse Joy, Pokémon Center."
- Nando's harp is shaped like Mew.
Errors
Before the end of the episode, the icon on Dawn's hat is missing the filled in pink circle, leaving only the outer circle icon on the hat.
