This episode begins with a recap of the previous battles from the previous episode. Don George announces the beginning of the first semi-final battle between Stephan and Bianca, getting Stephan's name wrong as he gives Don George a disgusted look. Sawk runs into the stadium and pumps himself up with some martial arts moves, as Bianca enters the stadium on time and without tripping over herself. Sawk begins the battle with Bulk Up, Emboar attacks Sawk with Hammer Arm, but it dodges the attack which upsets Bianca. Sawk uses Karate Chop on Emboar's left side hurting him badly. Sawk uses Close Combat to hit its opponent while it fights back with Fling to throw him. He then uses Bulk Up to power up again while Emboar uses Flamethrower which Sawk dodges, and Sawk uses double Karate Chops to knock Emboar out.

Don George announces the beginning of the second Semi-Finals between Ash and Masaomi. Scraggy walks up to Throh to try and use Leer but Throh terrifies him by glaring. Scraggy runs back to Ash after being scared by Throh. Throh makes a gesture towards Scraggy, mocking him. Scraggy attempts to use Focus Blast multiple times but fails to hit Throh each time. Throh moves towards Scraggy to use Superpower and Scraggy tries to fight back with Hi Jump Kick, but it was a trick so that Throh could Circle Throw him to the ground. Scraggy tries to use Headbutt on Throh but it doesn't do any damage so he was able to use Superpower to throw Scraggy again. Scraggy tries and fails to land another Focus Blast attack and Throh finishes him off with a Seismic Toss. Masaomi and Stephan are announced as the finalists for the tournament.

Trivia

Errors

Sawk's extra finger
  • Sawk's forehead appears larger than normal in one scene.
  • While Stephan and Sawk are hugging each other, Sawk has four fingers on his right hand when he should have only three. His fingers are also missing their patterns.
  • The stand that Stephan and Sawk were standing on after he won the Donamite tournament appeared to be big enough only to hold two people while Don George and Freddy O'Martian stood on the ground next to the stand. As the camera pans out giving a full view of the battle field, however, the stand is dramatically larger, appearing like a stage, and Don George and Freddy are standing on it along with Stephan and Sawk.
