Blaze (Japanese: もうか Raging Flames) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Twelve Pokémon have this ability; each one of them is a member of the evolution family of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh's Template:Type2 starter Pokémon.
In Mystery Dungeon, it will do double the damage if the Pokémon using it is below 25% of its HP.
Effect
In battle
When a Pokémon with Blaze uses a Fire-type move, it will do 150% of its damage if the user has less than or equal to 30% of its maximum HP remaining.
Outside of battle
Blaze has no effect outside of battle.

Dual ability
No Pokémon have Blaze as one of their two abilities.

Blaziken: Blaziken's body begins to glow with fire.
- Activated by May's Blaziken in Once More with Reeling.
Chimchar: The flame on Chimchar's rear explodes into an inferno.
