The Shrouded Ruins (Japanese: 霧の遺跡 Foggy Ruins) is an area located in the northern region of the Crimson Mirelands of Hisui. It is located east of Cloudpool Ridge and the Brava Arena, north of Diamond Heath, and northwest of Lake Valor.

In the climax of the story, this is the setting where Red Chain is forged by the lake guardians. The Shrouded Ruins also plays a role in Request 22: "Eerie Apparitions in the Night" once the player collects all the wisps scattered around Hisui.

Geography

Ruined stone pillars and archways comprise the Shrouded Ruins, similar to the Celestica Ruins of the Coronet Highlands. Surrounding the ruins stand formations of stacked stones of various heights and dimensions. A stone tablet at the center of the ruins depicts ancient drawings of various Pokémon, including a few of the noble Pokémon of the region, Legendary Pokémon, and Arceus. A stone structure that resembles a gigantic Odd Keystone lies to the east of the main ruins.
