Sacred Fire (Japanese: せいなるほのお Sacred Fire) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation II. It is Ho-Oh's signature move. Unlike most moves that can cause status problems, this move has a 50% chance of burning the opponent, as opposed to the usual 10%-30%.
Effect
Sacred Fire will thaw out the user if it is frozen, and then inflict damage on the target. It also has a 50% chance of burning the target.
