Cooking Up a Sweet Story (Japanese: 対決!サトシ対ピカチュウ!? Showdown! Satoshi VS Pikachu?!) is the 24th episode of the Diamond & Pearl series. It first aired in Japan on March 29, 2007 with DP025, and in the United States on July 16, 2007.
Synopsis
Theresa sees Ash's Pikachu and asks to borrow it for three days. Ash is reluctant, but Theresa explains that her grandmother Abigail's Pikachu, Sugar, ran away. There will be a cooking contest coming up, but Theresa doesn't think that her grandmother will win without Sugar.
Ash agrees to this plan. Theresa tells them that Sugar always scratched her head with her tail. They arrive at the store, and Pikachu runs in and scratches his head. Abigail believes that Sugar has come back and sets off with Pikachu to find berries.

Dub edits
- In the Japanese version, there was an original intro for this episode, yet Pokémon USA starts out the episode with a cold open format (not present in the Japanese version), and then using the original intro after the theme song is played. This is also true for Oh Do You Know the Poffin Plan?.
