The S.S. Aqua (Japanese: アクアごう S.S. Aqua) is a ferry service that runs between Johto and Kanto. It doesn't run nearly as often as the Magnet Train, the only other method of transportation between Johto and Kanto in the Generation II games. It travels between Olivine City and Vermilion City. A player can only travel on this ship after defeating the Johto Pokémon League. There are battles that occur on the ship.
