Blaze (Japanese: もうか Raging Flames) is an ability introduced in Generation III that ups Template:Type2 moves in a pinch. This means that when a Fire-type move is used, it will do 150% of its damage if the Pokémon using it is below 30% of its HP.
In Mystery Dungeon, it will do double the damage if the Pokémon using it is below 25% of its HP.
Twelve Pokémon have this ability; each one of them is a member of the evolution family of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh's Template:Type2 starter Pokémon.
