Red and the professor go in search of the Pokémon and they catch them one by one until they arrive in [[Viridian City]] to catch the last one, Bulbasaur, who enters the [[Viridian Gym]]. Everything is dark inside and they can only see a statue of [[Giovanni]] and the scared Bulbasaur.  When Oak approaches it attacks him, but it behaves gently with Red. He tries to catch it back when an angry Machoke attacks them, but Bulbasaur defends them. With Red's strategy, the Pokémon defeats the Machoke with a {{m|SolarBeam}}. Back in the laboratory, Red justifies himself for enter without invitation and the professor praises his intelligence, giving him the Bulbasaur, a [[Pokédex]] and a new mission to complete it.

Bulbasaur, Come Home! (Japanese: VSゴーリキー VS. Goriky) is the second round of the Pokémon Special manga and also the second one in the Red, Green & Blue chapter.
