Heal Block is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation IV. It prevents the opponent from restoring HP for five turns.

Generation IV

The following moves: Ingrain, Leech Seed, Moonlight, Morning Sun, Recover, Heal Order, Rest, Softboiled, Wish and Synthesis are unable to function when Heal Block is in play.

The following abilities: Ice Body, and Rain Dish are unable to function when this move is in play, regardless of the weather.
